Our Goal Our Goal is to provide you with the highest quality of care in a caring and safe environment at a more affordable and economical cost and allsorts of dental treatment under one roof.In order to do this, we use the most current dental procedures, instruments, medications, and sterilization techniques Patient Comfort While no dental procedure is 100% comfortable, we go to great lengths to minimize any discomfort you might feel. Many of our patients remark, “This was not even painful. How did you do that?” The following are some of the latest techniques we use to provide you with as comfortable an experience as possible. Pre-Medication Patient comfort is one of the most important aspects of care. Different patients have different needs for pain-control medication. Depending upon the procedure and your wishes, there are many medications we can prescribe. Injections of Anesthesia Injections of dental anesthesia can become more painful if not precisely done or if the injection is done at too rapid a rate. We recognize this and take extra care when giving injections using anaesthetic sprays and gels. Dental Implants Implants are explained in their own separate section. Smoking Cessation Therapy Recent studies have shown that tobacco use may be one of the most significant risk factors in the development and progression of periodontal disease. In addition, following periodontal treatment or any type of oral surgery, the chemicals in tobacco can slow down the healing process and make the treatment results less predictable. We will discuss with you the different programs and aides that are available for quitting smoking for good. Oral Cancer Screening At your first visit and at regular intervals thereafter, you will receive an oral cancer exam. This is a non-invasive inspection of your head and neck area, as well as inside your mouth to assess if there are any early signs of pathology. We will be happy to do this quick and painless exam and inform you of the findings to ease your mind. Treatments rendered include 1. Normal and deep oral prophylaxis (Scaling) 2. Flap surgery for treating periodontitis 3. Bone grafting for Osseo induction. 4. Frenectomy / Frenotomy 5. Soft Tissue Grafts 6.
