Shri G. PARTHASARATHI (Alias) VISHNU DAS, a math’s Graduate from MCC Chennai and Diploma in Electronics and Diploma in Aeronautics is started the SYK in the year 1991.
He has undergone a Yoga Vedanta forest Academy Training Course at Sivananda Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh (UP), Yoga Teachers’ training Course at the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram in Kerala. In addition to the above, he has attended a Yoga Instructor and yoga Therapy course at Vivekananda Kendra Yoga research Foundation in Bangalore. He has taken part in the Philosophy and sychoanalysis Training Programme Conducted by Krishnamurthy Foundation at Rishivalley in Andhra Pradesh and has also attended Vipassana Meditation Course at Hyderabad.He has travelled far and wide and has visited many Yoga Ashrams in India and Abroad .He has mastered the Technique of releaving stress and tension through Yogic science. He has given Yoga training programmers in leading Companies and industries for the corporate, some of the beneficiaries of Shiva Yoga Kendra are Murugappa Group of Companies/Castrol India Pvt.Ltd./ Indian overseas Bank/ TTK Pharmaceutical Drugs and Alcoholic Rehabilitation Center. The mission behind starting the Kendra is to take the Yoga and Meditation to larger mass & to help them cope up with mental and physical stress & tension of the modern living, based on Swami Sivananda’s teachings. SYK has branches & affiliated centers in India & Abroad.
